Epithelioid Sarcoma -two case reports-

Abstract

|
Epithelioid sarcoma is a rare malignant tumor but distinctive soft tissue tumor which occurs chiefly in the hand and forearm of young adult. The tumor involves skin, superficial fascia, tendons or nerves and shows a slow infiltrative growth with
a
high
risk of local recurrence and late metastasis, leading to fatality in a third to one-half of all cases.
The authors experienced two cases of epithelioid sarcoma in the wrist and forearm.
